Hey Everybody,

First of all, i just want to say thank you so much for  all of the encourging comments and emails I've received. It is such a blessing to be built up and encouraged by people who are chasing after the Same thing... More of Jesus!!

So, i finally have had some time to sit and figure out how to write blog entries on my website... im workin on all of this computer technical stuff!! haha!! But  I just wanted to write and tell you guys a little bit of the story of  how i came to Lakeland. It all started off by a random  God connection. Of course, if you talk to almost anybody in Lakeland, most everyone got there by some cool God story…

How mine came about  starts all the way back in December. I was asked by a person whom, at the time, I did  not really know, to put together a worship team for a conference coming up. The Speaker ended up being Todd Bentley and the singer that they were bringing in to lead the worship  was  Roy Fields. I ended up being a support singer for Roy at that Conference in February. After that, he asked me to start traveling with him as a support singer. That is how I came to be in Lakeland at the beginning of the revival. I was scheduled to sing with him. However at the time, it was just a conference. Around the last two days of the conference, something in the atmosphere began to change. There was a desperation in the hearts of every person in the room that could almost be tangibly felt. I remember just weeping on stage at the sight of the entire room worshipping with full abandon. I had never seen that many people so hungry for God. You know some people have asked me what was so different about the revival… all I can really say is God  responded to the cry of his Bride. There was such a hunger  and thirst for his presence in the room. What God had been teaching me even before the revival began, is how jealous he is for His bride. We were created to encounter the living God. We were made to have a personal relationship with Him. The room was full of people hungry to know God. I keep saying the word Hungry because that is what it is all about. It was like the Bride of Christ was coming back to a simple love once again. Every person in the room, including myself began falling in love with Jesus all over again.  Even now as I'm writing this blog, there is fire burning inside of me.  After being in the presence of God, under his Revival presence, it's like you are continuously wanting more of God. What if the Bride came back to Simply loving God again. So many times we get so busy with life that we forget that God wants us to simply be with Him. The Lakeland Revival created an environment, a place where people could forget about everything else and focus on the Lord. They chose to forget about man's expectations and began pressing into the heart of God. They began saying, above all else, I want to know the heart of God!!!  Healing, deliverance, and Salvation took place over and over again. But the reason why it all happened was because people chose to lift up the name of Jesus. People took the time to press into the heart of God.

Well I guess this is going to be my first blog. Its not much. I was just sitting at the Barnes and Nobles in my hometown, drinking coffee, and I decided to write. I'm in love with God and want to love him for the rest of my life. When I get to heaven I want to already know the face of the one I was created for because I took the time to stare into His face here on earth. I want to be a part of a generation sold out to the things of God… a generation who said it was ok to live a life of no compromise…haha… ok I've started going again!!! Anyways, whoever reads this, I pray that you are having a beautiful day and that God is blessing you will all of his Goodness!! We serve a good God and that is something to shout about!! :)

Re: Enjoying the worship from South Africa

Catherine,
My wife and I have been enjoying every moment of the worship that you led at the revival!! Thanks for your honest, from the heart, "giving it everything you've got" attitude at worshipping God. You're a blessing to us and we thank Jesus for the anointing on your life.
Love you,

Re: My first Blog here at the wonderful Barnes & Nobles in Newnan, Georgia... my HOmetown!! :)

All I can say is Wow! God is using your praise and worship in a tremendous way! When I turned on the tv the very first words I heard you sing were. "God, I don't want to sing about you like you are not even in this room". I felt the Holy Spirit melt my heart. That is one things that I have always wandered as to why people sing about Jesus and not to Jesus! I continued watching as you led a Holy Spirit led, powered pack worship service. I watched for about 15 minutes and then I paused the dvr and I brought my whole family into the room. I rewinded back to the beginning and we praised in worshipped in our house like we were there in Lakeland! My 6 year old daughter just sat and cried for an hour because of the Holy Spirit on her. We danced, we ran, we sat, we stood, and we praised and worshipped until midnight! I just kept rewinding the dvr!! Praise to Jesus! I speak blessings over your life. I honor you as a woman of God! I tremble as I type this because the Holy Spirit is all over me! (btw I am watching online..again)...People are hungry for God!! Keep being obedient!!

Re: My first Blog here at the wonderful Barnes & Nobles in Newnan, Georgia... my HOmetown!! :)

I present honor to you so that you can present it to the King. I like what you said about simply loving Jesus. IF we do that than we have to grow. We can't stay the same. His love changes us, it rearranges us. But the cool thing is that GOD = LOVE. It's not that God possesses love, but exist as love.

In the beginning, LOVE created... (Genesis 1:1)

God Bless Catherine...grace be to you Sister!

Re: My first Blog here at the wonderful Barnes & Nobles in Newnan, Georgia... my HOmetown!! :)

Holy moly, you worship like I feel... and sometimes do myself! I get so bored with lullaby worship services that sound like just the words being pushed out with no heart behind it. Where do I go to get bible training that gives a fire like you've got?? God is calling me to bible college and I want the best there is, but most of all I want to go where God wants me to go.

Re: My first Blog here at the wonderful Barnes & Nobles in Newnan, Georgia... my HOmetown!! :)

First of all let me say "You go girl!" I turned the TV on one night to watch the revival and I noticed this crazy lady running around the stage (and I mean crazy in a good way). I love your passion for God. May I say your passion is contagious. Keep loving Jesus and proclaiming that he is good! I will proclaim his goodness with you as God leads me to speak to his people. You are a blessing to the body of Christ and I pray that God is raising up an army of people who are selling out and following him with reckless abandon just as you are. I know that I am one of those. I am sold out for God! God bless you sister.

Keep pressing in and soaking in HIS presence. I feel your ministry is in its' infancy, with much more growth and fruit ahead. I bless you and look forward to your continuing worship ministry. That cry in your singing voice during slow worship songs, carries a powerful anointing with which you are able to transport your listeners with you, behind the veil. I'll keep listening and enjoying HIS presence with you.
In HIS love, Bruce

Thank you for the tremendous blessing your ministry provides

The first time I saw you lead worship, I felt like Elizabeth must have felt when the baby leaped inside of her. Your passion for the Lord is such an inspiration to me and many others. That's what a true worship leader is all about.

Be blessed and go on giving what you can for the freedom of the people of God.

Hey Catherine, what a blessing your worship has been to many people.God is really using you to inspire many Christians to become bold for Jesus Christ.Your voice and the way you worship is amazing! We thank God that he is raising up a young anointed Christian worship leader that is changing peoples life's all across the world. When you go into spontanous worship and sing the name 'Jesus' it brings tears to my eyes.
We pray that you will fearlessly continue to proclaim the name of 'Jesus' in this world that desperately needs him so much. God bless you sister.

Catherine, Went one last time to Lakeland, turned out to be the very last nite of the Big Tent. Was sad to see it go down the next few days. Experienced Roy Fields powerful praise. Met young and old from other countries at the campground. Worshiped at Ignited Church where it all began. To be around so many people that love the Lord felt really comforting. Thanks so much for going down there and sharing your joyful praise. God was so good for sending you. (and of course awaiting the CD)
